Well according to everybody our season is finished after the first round of games, Not a great start (Especially the way we played) But this is a stronger spurs team that beat us last year plus the lane was never a happy hunting ground for us. We've had Injuries all threw pre season and at the most crucial time (Sketel, Agger, Carra, Gerrard, Rearia, and Torres is meant to be carrying a knock), What it did show was a lack of dept or trust on Raffas part of our squad.Lucas was not up to the job so why not try Spearing out, Voronininininin is not up to it either so why not Nemeth. Raffas going to have to try out the young players or go into the market big time

yes it was a sorry show yesterday. I don't like pointing out individuals but Babel may as well not have turned up! Had Benny been on from the start we may have gotten something but he didn't and it's easy to say these things after the event.
The midfield without Xabi looked frail but that's what we have and we just have to get on with it. Maybe Gerrard will have to drop in there until Aquilani is fit to start - I don't know.
But it's only one game against a strong side. I'm sure the lads will do what needs to be done in the coming matches. It's time to reflect, improve, dust ourselves off and start again on Wednesday.

Concerning Babel, it's Rafas fault, cause Babel is a striker, why play him on the left, we will neva see his full potential. Benny should be first choice, the Spearing and then Lucas. The monster wasn't in the game, maybe still sulking for not goin' to Barca. The attitude of the players was wrong. If Gerrard is playing s@#$t y not sub him, same for Torres. It must be done for the good of the team. Hate to say it but,it's time s lke that that i admire SAF, he doesn't wait untill the 70th min to make a sub, and if necessary will make 2 to 3 changes to win the game. We must stop being techtical and more attacking.

what is it with everyone saying babel is a striker? it might be where he WANTS to play but at ajax he mainly played on the left! personally i don't think his attitude is right no matter where he plays - he would be the player i would choose to sell second (after voronin) in the current squad

What a talent he is, but i think at his age, he is slowly no longer being labeld at talent anymore, you got to turn your talent into the real thing. He is into this rapping and recording rap music, i think the bloke mind aint on his training. he still a kid in many aspects.
