Thundyr, are you saying kuyt is a top quality striker, could he play up front on his own???? I don't think so! as i said in my my post, he is a yard or two short of the pace needed to be a world class striker. If he had the speed of Torres then he would be one of the best striker in the world and one of the best the club has had on their books. I stand by what I said he is not an out and out striker. Don't scratch too much you might get a splinter!

With Babel not heading to Ajax, chances of us landing Suarez has become slimmer.

The fact is if we paid £30m for him you can bet that when Barcelona
come in for him they would only offer £20m and this would end up being bad business and would end up just like Mascherano all over again !.I would prefer a move for Benzema as he won't want to go back to spain and would make a better target man and is a little more physical.

Ajax just wants the money, they already came out and said they couldn't afford to match Babel's wages.
Suarez is on a reported £30,000 a week and is oneof their highest earners, Babel is double that and more.
This deal is far from dead.
