This is how sad I am reading last Saturday’s daily mirror. It was pointing out the fall of Joe in the world cup in the summer and now playing in the Lancs. Senior cup with the reserves. I have to say before he came I thought he was class and I thought he would be a great signing. So far it’s not worked out for him and it seems Kenny has reservations or too put it politely needs convincing let’s say. For me he seems a bit lost as to his position in the side and he had a really bad start against Arsenal with the sending off and doesn’t seem to have recovered from it mentally. I wonder what people think of the situation and do you think there is a role for him in the side?

yeah i also thought he was gonna be a great signin but im jus not sure where abouts in the team he fits in... he doesnt hav the pace to play on the wings. i think his best position would be jus behind torres... but if we get suarez then hes gonna be further down the pecking order
I Dont get how maxi plays ahead of him Maxi misses ten times and do one thing clever and he is always in the starting 11 i reckon joe cole is better then maxi he just needs a chance
Don't like the idea of Cole on the wings tbh. He's better in his natural position, but I'd rather see Gerrard there, and if we get Suarez wont we be playing 2 up front? Or at least Suarez just off of Torres? Cole's day are numbered imo.

Hear what you are saying but the manager sees them every day in training and its not just Kenny Roy also seemed to be losing interest.

The more time goes by the more you have to give Carlo Ancelotti credit for knowing when the rite time to get shut of a player was, this seems to be the case with Joe Cole unfortunately...
