I'm sure women would be touched with your concern.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

To me, you are either FOR mixing genders in sports (that includes women refs and players in the mens game) or AGAINST it.

If you are for only women on the lines but no refs, or women on the lines and refs but no players then you have double standards. It's glaringly obvious why women shouldn't be in the mens game and why we even HAVE a mens and womens game. Because the majority of women couldn't complete physically (I'm sure they could do a job on the lines but that's not my point)

The main reason is that the general public would NOT like to see women be hard tackled (noting sexual intended) by a man, or abused if they were a ref. To say it's ok for them to be on the lines is double standards.

To have a womens game and a mens game yet to crumble into half-measures of allowing no players but refs, or no refs but them on the lines, is reducing the idea of gender sports to half-measures and utter double standards. It's ridiculousness in the extremes, hiding the obvious social and physical gaps between genders whilst still trying to pander to the political correctness of it all.

Anyway I've said my piece on this issue, the pc nutters on here who don't understand can now call me all the 'isms' their little hearts desire, it wont change the reality.

Fowler I'll call you what I like if you are talking rubbish. Its not being PC if you knew me you would know I hate political correctness with a vengence particulaly where it discriminates which it does e,g a white male is second class citzen to many of the PC elite running this country. If she was only in the job because she was a woman fair enough you would have a point but as long as she is up to the job who cares what gender they are thats not being PC that's just being fair. And another thing when I am at Anfield I see nothing above the turnstiles that says men only theres loads of women at games today. Or is that another thing that gets up your nose?

You jumped right in before getting my entire viewpoint though and labelled me something in which I am not. I've already said she could do a job on the line, my point was misunderstood and is about balance. And there is NO balance in the gender debate. All there is, is half-measures and unfairness on both sides. I don't believe in half-measures whilst maintaining the illusion of a same sex sport, it's either all inclusive or completely separate.

you cant have male and female players on the same pitch because there is a biological difference bt the genders that is not sexist, its nature. however, nothing wrong with female officials, that girl did a great job yesterday.
