Was very poor today,we really didn't create anything.Yossi should have started ahead of babel.Babel isn't a left winger. He's better coming of the bench & playing down the middle.Lets see if we can turn these home draws into wins, starting with stoke on wed. We'll have to start getting more men in the box & not isolate torres as much.Only 37 games to go!!!

Benayoun should have started...after the way he played last season and his pre-season form he should have started and that is Rafa's fault. Babel may deserve a chance and may need a few more games but it's important to get early results and we didn't get that today! I have found Babel to be a better player coming on as a sub when the opposition has slowed down a little.. He can utilize his pace better and have a bigger impact.

We were poor... very poor in the 1st half. Much better after Yossi came on and link with Gerrard. Lucas should not even be in the team.

On a positive note Glen Johnson looked class in my opinion , getting down the line , and eventually his crossing will get better and Torres'll get more goals with his head.

Hopefully that performance will shock us into a better display against Stoke in midweek.

this result is no different than last year. The only difference was the performance. The first game of the season is usually not symptomatic of how a team performs in the league. It is a nice to have 3 points and it certainly builds confidence but it is not a true yardstick.

Spurs will be a difficult place to get points this year. we did not get any. Let's move on and look forward to Stoke. if we did not get 3 points then, i will be slightly worried.

I'd rather we lose 4-5 games than draw 10 or 11 games.
