Kenny Dalglish insists any transfers made in the January window will be dealt with behind closed doors.

Responding to suggestions from a Sky Sports reporter that Liverpool fans would want to be kept in the loop, the King said: “Well it’s a bit sad when you spin it onto the fans.

“We know more about our fans than yourselves do so we know how they want to be treated and they know what we want, and they want us to treat them with respect.

“And they want us to treat them the way that Liverpool fans have always been treated by the club. And that’s if we’ve got business to do we’ll do it behind closed doors”

“Once we’ve got something, a story to tell about anybody, then we’ll let you know. But we’ve got no stories to tell about anything.

“I know what’s going on, but it doesn’t mean I’ve got to tell you.”

Although Liverpool fans are naturally frustrated about the lack of news emanating from Anfield regarding transfers, they are likely to grudgingly accept that the club are operating behind closed doors for all the right reasons.

The best way to conclude transfers with minimal intrusion is to do them away from the limelight, and that is exactly what Kenny & co. appear to be doing.

Kenny owns slysports:

Sky asked Kenny about move for Charlie Adam: "A lot of the fans watching the show today will want to know if that is getting closer."

Fecking legend! Can you imagine if that was Roy being interviewed? He'd have rambled on for an hour and told slysports everything there is to tell, including internal Liverpool business. Thank fook he's gone and we have the king back!

i think we need to keep joe cole as he is someone who can change a game and create something out of nothing. As for charlie adams, don't know too much about him but if he improves the midfield then why not for 6m we have wasted more money on far worse players.
