Yes I would bring them back, I think supporters should be given the choice wether to stand or sit, not just sit or nothing at all. If terraces could be made safer then it would be a welcome idea as it woud be cheaper and allow people to actualy stand and be with people you know, have things in common with, come from the same place as you do meaning you can discuss similar lifestyles which you can relate to unlike now...

I agree with bringing them back if it could be made safer, for the atmosphere alone. Oh and you could'nt resist the little dig in the second part of your post, could yer.
That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

Yes but come on it does play a part you have to admit that, it does make a difference if you can stand or sit next to friends and family instead of strangers or like in my case my mates sit in completely different stands on there own...

so you want to fill the kop with your family? wow and i thought i was from a big family.
in my mind when i'm on the kop i'm with family, as shankly once said the whole ground is a family I would just like to be able to go to the game and sit or stand with people I can relate to and have things in common with, just cant share things the same with Irish fans, cockneys or people from Norway, am not bashing OOT here am just saying people like to be with people they have things in common with as well as football...

so the fact the are all at a liverpool game but you have nothing in common? i forgot that people from outside the city don't work, have families or hobbies like the rest of us Please dont tell me you actualy think all parts of the country are the same, that is the most ridiculous comment I have heard, all Towns and Cities are different from one another, each one has a separate identity...

they are not the same. every single person has their own identity but that does'nt mean we should shun them. i worked in london and our local pub was ran by a wrexham lad and a cockney who's mum was from the dingle and they were no different from your normal LFC fan. It's only natural people would want to be with people they have things in common with, I cant believe people would try to say otherwise. Liverpool people are like nobody else in the country in my opinion which is shared by most, we are famous for being unique, it's what made the Club so special all those years ago. I think all the hard times the City has faced over the years has made it's people stronger, we have always had it's us against the world mentality and to be fair we have had to be like that when the rest of the Country seen us in such a bad light. There is no way on earth we are the same people as thse from other Cities like Manchester, Birmingham, London or Newcastle who are all special as well in there own way...

I feel we could have standing room to a point, only if its as safe as possible, ie no 20 feet high fences to hold people in , as far as i know fences or pens have been removed from grounds? and i feel they had a large part to play in hillsborough, no ground can be totally safe because of the size an nature of the moving crowd but we have to use what we have learned from all disasters! i can actually agree with reclaim to a POINT! were by it would be good to stand with your family and friends on the terrace as opposed to sitting in separate parts of the stand, however i dont agree with the usual bias against oots!terraces cud be a solution to high prices and needing more room! again people who were personally affected by hillsborough may not agree!

The point about standing with family and friends is a fair one. But standing will never happen at Liverpool in my view we would be the last club to re-introduce it for very obvious reasons. Also do I detect the OTT thing coming on this thread what did Dunk just say ?
