so we should have a £15m transfer budget before the owners even put their hands in their pockets

there was around £8m left after the masch deal, we were in for a striker towards the end of the last window but deals for gomez and cole didnt come off. now babel has gone for £7m we should look at investing that into new signings

2 will do for me. luis suarez and ashley young. that would be incredible and surely have us climbing the table for the remainder of the season. our current budget should nearly cover one of those then the owners can push for a marquee signing. i'm hopeful but i also got a feeling we might do nothing. you would think after babels exit it would indicate we are in the market for another player. but are they trying to slash the wage budget and bring in a youngster like chambelain? or just do nothing at all?

imagine torres and n'gog were injured. we'd have F all. apart from jovanovic, who is worse than babel tbh

another thing to think about would villa let young go after signing bent? £24m is a lot of money. but didn't they recieve around the same fee for milner?

babel = one waster gone. just another 10 or so to go!! as for suarez, anything from the dutch league is a gamble. he could turn out like van horseface or kezman. He looks class though, especially in the world cup. Hopefully we can get warnock on loan and a quality winger for the left side.

he does look a quality player tho suarez just hope he turns out a success he certainly has the attributes as did babel altho he is more proven than babel imo

The Times said we are still some way apart from their valuation for Suarez, so it's looking like 24-28 million to get him.
