Why are liverpool stupid? 22m is a justified ammount for the player we are getting. Have you seen how much villa are willing to pay to sign bent?

We are not villa mate don't judge are club dealing on others.

We should pay what player is worth not over just to force the deal, 18m is more than enough for his ability its the fcking dutch league anyone can score goals there mate.

I dont think he is a very good player! I think he will be average at liverpool and i think it is a massive gamble and a lot of money! I would rather have D Bent to be honest! He is proven in the PL. what we need in January is proven players in the PL to get us moving upwards in the league. Downing, Young, SWP, C.Cole, Warnock, Zogbia etc etc. we need players that can hit the ground running. we should be making big gambles in the summer. at the moment we are doing really bad (although we are improving) so I think we should play it safe in jan!

He will need to adjust to the EPL but he will score goals as he adjusts. He's that good. Just like Torres did.

He is good i don't doubt that but he is no torres or even in same class, has the ability to be but is not at same level as torres, when he come to us.

Even though fairness to the guy the play completely different places, but 18m is fair prices for him. before world cup he was going for 12m 14/16m max and that is in euros.

So 18m plus babel plus addons LOL

torres wasn't a prolific goalscorer when he joined us.

suarez is a quality player. every transfer is a bit of a gamble, you never know how it will work out.

and it's not £18m + permanent transfer for babel. rumour is babel will join them on loan for rest of the season.

Nothing new really - and most of Tottenham - but I'm slowly starting to belive that Suarez will be our player....:
