If rafa goes we r finished!hav the yanks thought abt that?? remember rafa [oops] off valencia , tell thz yanks to [oops] off Nonsense. Benitez is a good manager but not some kind of messiah. Don't forget that he has spent a lot of money and we haven't actually won anything for three seasons. I want him to stay but if he goes he goes. Houllier was replaceable, so is Benitez Be careful Ricardo saying the waiter does'nt walk on water is not allowed on here, also talking sense either, you have to treat your posts like you live in the 70s and 80s heydays or risk getting told to be quiet or told you dont have a clue.

Sense is allowed Ged, I look forward to you giving us some one day.
Benitez is just going to have to work with what he has got. A great manager could do that, and I think Benitez will have us challenging for the two major honours again this year. If he can't, then he'll be off I give you sense its just that you dont listen, Liverpool Football Club will not be winning the league in the not to distant future and the Spanish Waiter wont be manager of the club this time next season, that is fact and we will see who is right, that fair?

Yeah, maybe we won't. But to change the manager you have to be able to bring in a new manager who is better AND supply him with enough transfer funds to make changes AND give him enough time to do that.
Even IF you can you name a better manager we can bring in right now, that manager isn't going to have any transfer funds, and doesn't have a lot of time before the window will close. So we will at least have to wait a while.
As I said in the other thread. We are only one game into the season. If we lost against stoke at home, then we will all start panicking :p Told people before the Spanish waiter will be gone at the end of the season and then is the time to bring in Guus Hiddink, he will be finishing with the Russia team after the world cup so he will be free to manager at club level. You seen in such a short space of time at Chelsea what the man can do when he changed the Chelsea team around, he gave us a footballing lesson at Anfield in the Champions league when we were at the height of our best season form and ended up winning the F.A.Cup in his first season. The man knows how to get the best out of players and knows how to handle himself in the class stakes unlike the crying Spanish waiter who cries and moans when he does'nt get his own way and is quite prepared to drag the clubs good name through the mud in front of the world media just to score points like he did with Parry and the Owners.

I see your point Ged, but I think you are wrong, Hiddink will never manage a club with so much dirty laundary. Benetez is a good manger but the problem he has had is winn the CL a year or so to early!, this is prob what attracted the yanks in the first place.... My main concern is we will be asset stripped before we are sold, ie ged torres, reina etc. We have spent over 40 million this summer, which is still alot of money when you think about it. I do sometimes wonder why people think we dont have money, when the reason is obvious....we spend it on players!! It just that most fans beleive we should be competing with Chelsea (whos owner is one of the richest men in the world), Man city (one of the richest families in the world and Man U (one of the biggest brands in the world) WE cannot compete and need to realise we will not win the league and just start tring to enjoy our performances tis season and get behind the team.

No we all won't, but it'll be mighty entertaining reading part two of the never ending episodes of gloom doom and despondancy and self opinionated twaddle of the gruesome twosome and resident punch bags THE MIGHTY EMPEROR and Ged the ned.

The reason Guus is managing the Russian team is because Roman is bank rolling it (hence the reason he went to the Chavs while still under contract with Russia). Whether he stays with the Russian team or not, he will not be at Liverpool as his pockets are being lined by Roman.
