suarez ain't a winger. he might be able to play on the wing in a 4-3-3 but he would partner torres upfront if he joined us.

You know Aldo,many moons ago LFC used to build their teams from buying low lying players and gelling them altogether,the likes of Hansen,Rush,Mcmahon,Grobs,Nicol,Souness etc came from no-where and became the players they were at LFC.Shouldn`t dismiss a player so easily.

Those days are gone and our scouting has been crap for over 20 years.

But Downing has been playing in the pl for ten years and I have not seen anything special, although not left footed Ashley Young can play left wing.

It would be nice to have a left sided player on the left,and i think if we could get Downing for £8m it may be a shrewd bit of business to balance that side of our midfield.

Yeah at least for once we would have a balanced side if we buy Suarez and Downing

Play Downing on the right like Messi/A.Johnson

We should never put the name Downing in the same sentence that contains the name Messi
