When I look at the way Kenny is going about managing the team he reminds me of other British managers that have a good season with a smaller club i.e. Ian Holloway at Blackpool or Phil Brown at Hull. They installed belief in the players, made them fighters.

I don't think Kenny is bothered about buying players he wants to get into the minds of the current squad because he believes and I believe that the current squad playing out of their skin for the club are good enough to challenge in this league.

I think you can see this happening already in the Man Utd game and also today, the way he dismissed the defensive problems by saying give Everton the credit for good movement in the box will help to build up the players confidence.

He's got a bloody good sense of humour too...especially being a Jock like too! whistle

Kenny Dalglish says he was forced to take Daniel Agger off during the 2-2 draw against Everton because of illness.

The Liverpool defender was replaced at half-time as he couldn't continue any longer. He had bravely declared himself available despite carrying the illness for some time but because he was struggling, the boss decided to take him off.

Speaking after the game, Dalglish said: "He was ill during the week at Blackpool. He did well even to survive that game.

"He has a stomach problem. I knew he had a stomach problem because I was in the toilet after him.

Oh how I chortled. grin

kenny will show all the haters ie andy gray, stewart robson, etc etc, that he is still a great manager and he will bring success to LFC again and again and that will make him into a even greater manager, bettr than fergie.

kenny knows how to get the best out of certain players and the one's that he can't, because they are not good enuff, he will sell. that is why he is giving all the players a chance to impress, b4 he decides, who he will keep or sell.
kenny is a fair man, but he is also a winner.

kenny talks to his players, b4 they go out on that pitch, making them feel unbeatable, 7ft talk and he is on the touch line helping them.
