old toress is back....few more games and teams will be shivering with the deadly combination of tores and gerrard....

was anyone surprized at johnson at lb..he is doing pretty good there...

we need a little serivce to toress other then gerrard like from winger like turan/hazard and a central midfield like cole if he strikes his form...

he was brilliant in the first half, didn't see too much of him in the 2nd.

and yes, glen did ok at lb. still too sloppy in his defending though.

yes i am glad the people who chose to bash torres rather than the last manager were proven wrong as well, with his goal scoring ratio its shocking to hear people saying washed up etc absolute rubbish!

but was better then he was at right back...

and in 2nd half u can see he barely got any serivce...
maxi was running into the wall again and again...

definately the old Torres in first half. But he on his own and we need support for him. Why not give cole a try just behind him?

Torres played well today, put a shift in for a change so credit where it's due, question is why has'nt he played like that for the whole of the season, I think he picks and chooses when he wants to play and have a go and for that reason he cant be relied upon or trusted, still must be sold A.S.A.P in my opinion for cheating the fans...

Service into him is better now, might have something to do with it.

if it's a case that he will only turn up when the big clubs/games turn up then maybe you have a point. If he now continues todays form and effort into the wolve game and beyond then we need him and if that happens hopefully you'll change your curent opinion on him.

The next couple of games will make it clearer

he scored against blackpool too..which is not a big club??
