He's at Panathanikos, hasn't been paid for 4 months. Desperately wants to leave, misses his family back here.

We need a striker to back up Torres, why not? He'd be cheap and still has fantastic pace. He'd LOVE to come back to Liverpool, he never wanted to leave in the first place. Would be a good deal for 12-24 months while get ourselves back on our feet.

What do you think? Our options are limited right now...

Again why are people suggesting players like Cisse and Kewell(from older posts, this is the same reason people call us a backwards club. Cisse is a Liverpool reject we dont want that.

He's better than N'gog, Even if until the end of the season it would be a shrewd move.

What if Torres gets injured, you're happy to have N'gog up front?

Well I never suggessted Kewell that was someone else. I'm suggesting Cisse because he loves the club and would love to play for us again, even if for a 4 month loan. If Torres gets hurt we are screwed.

I thought he was settled there. Captain of the team, won the double last year, top scorer (he's got a phenomenal strike rate there, 37 goals in 44 games).

I'd have thought there'd be younger alternatives available though. Depends on how much he'd be I suppose, but I can't really see it happening.

Giving him a loan wont hurt us, so yeah, four month loan is good
