I know there's a lot of talk about the lack of cash for Rafa etc but there's also the fact that the Villa/Valencia rumour mill has gone dead quiet (UK & Spain)... also if you look at the teams who have supposedly been interested in Villa - un-real/barça/manure/chavs/manshity (not sure if any official bids were made though) he still hasn't gone anywhere has he!
Then there are the rumours that say that he would only join Liverpool, and he and Torres would love to be paired up front for us... Torres saying to Rafa to buy Villa etc...
Maybe it's just rubbish but maybe there is some truth in it. The silence, the fact Villa's still at Valencia. Could this mean that Rafa is working some magic behind the scenes and away from prying eyes. Are his latest comments that hint on him not having the cash of other clubs just a ploy to avert attention?
Here's hoping Rafa does pull of the coup of the transfer season!
