He didn't look up for it at all yesterday, even Kenny could see that and hauled him off.

He did look 'more up for it' than usual.

i thought he was weak. never tried to hold the ball up and fight for position. didnt look lively at all imo.

Torres did put in more effort yesterday imo. However he is still missing his spark

ye i agree there were a couple of occasions wen we had the ball out wide and wen we crossed it in torres didnt make an effort to try and get infront of ferdinand he just stood behind him not the fernando torres of old ...come on kenny get him firing on all cylinders

whats happened to Honda? thought he was deffo signing?

That was just a rumour. According to Honda's agent, there's been interest but no firm offer.

Honda is playing in the Asian Cup in Qatar at the moment, so even if we were making a definite offer, I wouldn't necessarily expect anything to happen while Japan are still in it.

Hows about we start a good ol rumor with Kun Aguero heading our way. Surely Ath Madrid was looking to sell Forlan after his display in the World Cup, but didnt. Aguero is right up NESV alley, the perfect player that they described, a young star, loads of talent and ready to make a name for himself in Europe. Its the perfect time, theyre out of the european competition, January transfer season. A dozen or so million plus a player or two.

Seen on BBC gossip that we have been given the green light to get Alvaro Negredo for £17m. Not sure about this if true as I don't know much about him.

Aguero has signed a 2 year extention, so no chance nw.
