They are in charge less than 90 days, there is no CEO in place yet, they have admitted that they know little about football and are learning everyday,it will take a bit longer for them to get the hang of it,patience is required.

exactly wakka. we have waited 21 years to win the league. i think we can afford to be patient in the coming months and hopefully this will mean that the right decisions will be made.

Adebeyour on loan would be a good deal. He's a bit looney but he will get us some goals if he plays. May also stop us going for Carlton Cole and will give us time to get a CEO and some football people in so we can spend that money wiser in the summer.

Anyone know if Elia is another talented but lazy Dutch player like Babel, or is he actually talented and hardworking

Elia is a costly gamble, while Hammill we know more about and is FAR cheaper. 'We want to sign young talented English players' Well.........DUH! Here is one young, talented, ripping up the championship and straight from our fecking academy!!!!!! AND available NOW at a low price, Cardiff are looking at him, as are some prem clubs.

Whether NESV know anything about football or not, they have people at the club who are meant to know what they are doing but as we've proved over 20 years, they obviously don't. Our scouting policy has been a joke for a long time (Thank god Eduardo Macia left, another crap scout) as has our constant dithering on transfers at the very top level, missing out on so many brilliant players and instead signing costly average ones.

Sorry to sound pesimistic, but NESV have a LOT to prove before I trust them. They can deliver as many positive soundbytes as they want, but I'm not convinced right now. And comolli also has to prove himself because he's been hit and miss in his career too. Something tells me he's going to bombard us with crappy and costly foreigners.

Sorry but H&G sapped what positivity and confidence in how Liverpool is run from me. I'll be positive when there's something to be positive about, beacause trust has to be EARNED.

Sorry are you Hammill's agent? He is not the kind of player that we need to shoot us up the league he is the opposite. There is no way he is gonna make it at a top club short of a dramatic change in his capabilities.

Sorry are you attempting sarcasm? You obviously haven't watched him very much. He's the championships best player right now and would easily be good enough for the prem - and he's FAR less pricey than Elia which means we lose hardly anything if it didn't work out. Elia averages 4 goals and 3 assists a season which is very poor indeed, nowhere near worth the 13m touted.

And no-one said anything about him 'shooting us up the league.' upon arrival as he's still only young. Hammill is exactly the kind of player that fits in with the stated NESV policy: young, English, talented, and even better...right from our own academy. If we secured him NOW, we'd get him far cheaper than we would in a few years time. He's not the finished product yet but he's very promising and given time could well be a very good player for us AND would count as homegrown. It makes perfect sense with what NESV stated they want to achieve, and I'm not the only one calling for us to sign him back. If care to take a look on RAWK, you'll see many people there wanting him.

A much better and safer deal than our usual history of spending millions on average foreigners wouldn't you say.
