I think O'Neill could do a good job with Liverpool, I think people are just looking at what he did with Villa, Villa were crap when he took them on and almost got them to Top 4, I think that is a great achievement and the way he did it too is impressive, little cash spent and brought through young players. He won multiple leagues with celtic, brought them to the Uefa final and had Celtic reasonably competitive in the CL, just missing out on second round qualification, as far as I know no Scottish team has ever qualified for CL round 2. I think he'd get the team playing as a team and would not make crazy team selections like Roy has been doing and Rafa also it has to be said. He had Leicster competitive in the PL for years too, to me hes the obvious appointment, go away with this Villa boas chap, some lad coming in and he can barely speak the language, dont think we need that right now.
Also, I think Roy has been talking about the players in the squad, two World Cup winners were on the field last night, a world cup finalist, the England captain, its obvious we can do a lot better with our current squad and him sayin ghtis is what I inherited is a load of !"£$.

We'd be getting rid of one joke of a manager for another. He took over from o Leary at villa to better his league position and get into the champions league, which he failed [oops] miserabley. And we'd see no difference in football played, we'd need a john Carew or heskey to see the benefits of his long ball tactics with target men.

Funny how you've dramatically changed your tune. I personally was prepared to give Roy the benefit of the doubt. Alas no longer. I refuse to use abusive language though. What I disliked most of all was the verbal abuse that you are now pointing in Roy's direction. Really it's despicable to talk this way.
