Just look at it from my point of view, I just cant get my head around anyone wanting to support a Club from a different area from where there from, I could never see myself supporting say Manchester City or Newcastle for instance, dont mean to have a go or anything but I just simply dont understand why especialy when people have perfectly good Clubs to support where they live, why spend hundreds of pounds traveling to watch a Club that will never represent who they are or where there from, sorry to offend anyone.
I can see where you're coming from, but you don't know the reason why - maybe his dad is from Liverpool and left on a work transfer, and therefore the house was wall-to-wall red? But that doesn't imply these fans will randomly switch allegiance now that we're scrapping for 7th as usual. Liverpool has never been known for glory seeker supporters (ok, maybe not "never" but certainly in the last 20 years); you must have us confused with United. Whatever outside influence drew people to the club would surely not have dissipated just because we've reverted to "struggler" status once more. And if these people DID begin to support the club thanks to the heroics of say Sir Bob, why would they stop now after putting up with the disappointments of Souness and Evans and our average finishes ever since?
Part of the reason I love this club is because we're always the underdog. Everyone hates us, but we still win stuff, humiliate top sides; it's beautiful. I'm the only LFC supporter I personally know; everyone else is either scum or chav, except my mom who supports Newcastle (and only because she was hot for Kevin Keegan when he was there, but maybe that's giving you too much information...).
