He may have been a bit chunky but he wasn't fat. He just didn't work out. Italians don't tend to travel well. He made a big effort, putting in extra time in training etc. From what I can gather he was a good pro and some so called better players should take a leaf out of his book.

give him 40 million so he could afford to buy known quality?? you mean like spending 20 million a piece on Keane, Aqualani, Mascherano and Johnson, well yes he really does have a good track record on spending big money does'nt he all proven quality there, and when Johnson goes and Aqualani at Juve is made permanent none of the above will be even at the Club, shows how good this toxic monster's judgement on a player really is...

Funny you mention that i dont remember Rafa crying to the journo scum that keane was not his signing but parrys,gave him plenty of chances and it didnt work out,unlike roy who couldnt wait to deflect the blame on cecil over cole and protect his 35 years of sh1t ego.
