He never had full backing of the club owner. If he had, we would have won the the league 2 seasons back.

I remember he first tried to bring david villa to LFC when he was still a relative unknown in Sevilla. Look where he is today.

He never had the chance to buy his first choice players. And for that, I'll want him to come back and prove his worth.
