As i have said in many previous post's Liverpool from the past is no more and wont be coming back unfortunately, the game has simply past us by when we decided to rest on our laurels back at the end of the 80's to the point we have been left behind and replaced by bigger or more powerful Clubs. spot on and it nothing to do with Roy Hodgson .

Spot on my arse.
It's all about signing the right players, which many of our managers haven't done, we've signed way too many duds, or decided in our wisdom not to sign players who became good enough (Aguero, C. Ronaldo etc) It's nothing to do with the 80's, we've had chances to improve, and even chances to win the league under Houllier and Rafa who both came 2nd one year each and failed to make it count when they needed to.

don't be a hater. take the banter

Its nothing to do with the current set up its the years of decline you can go back as far a peter robinson who didnt move the club forward in the right way allowing the grass to grow under the feet of the club , even houllier and benitez who yes brought sucess did not do the job they were brought to the club for winning the league , and to blame hodgson for the way the club is in is a disgrace he has only been here 6 months not 6 years he cannot be to blame for the clubs decline , Lets get it right people Liverpool finished just about 7th and struggling to get there that is not down to hodgson i will say Liveerpool will finish between 5th and 8th this season because the team/squad left by other is a mid table squad , because of blaming other instead of blaming the people who count IE previous owners.CEO's and previous managers .

Roy was brought in to improve the team and bring us forward
At best he is barley going to reach last seasons heights so in that task alone he has failed
yes we can get back to the top but its going to take a long rebuilding process, one i hope that doesn't involve Roy.

Look at all the sucessful clubs in the world at the moment. What do they all have, a quality manager who can bring the best out of players and the team. It was not just the Russains billions Chelsea became a force Jose initiated it, Arsenal Wenger and Barca Pep. While we have had a couple of crack pots
