I'm gonna say something different here. In my eyes, this is not a loss because of Roy. Peoples blame the manager to easy. The players were lazy and sloppy all around. Torres didn't run, Lucas did not close the gaps, Krygiakos wasn't trying to play the ball but just tried to block his man, etc.
Only Reina, Kuyt, Johnson and Raul looked like trying to forge something. Babel is showing he wants more, bringing more threat than Ngog did, though he played a solid match. And the one that is most anoyed by all of this is Roy. You could see him thinking: "How the **** is this possible."
A manager is there to guide you, but in the end, it are the players that have to do the work.
