Much better from Babel the other night and Ngog looks like a different player. In my opinion we still need another out and out striker to go with Torres and these two. Every major club needs 4 strikers and I know people will say we've got Dirk, but he will be playing mainly right hand side for the foreseeable future unless we strengthen there in January, which we may well do! But I'd see like to see a Gervinho or a Benzama, someone top top draw to compliment Torres. However, I do see big improvements in Ngog and Babel. Babel's finish v Villa was sublime! If Torres had scored that we'd have been raving for weeks about it! What Babel and Ngog's form has done is given us good strength in depth and the ability to rest Torres for the Europa league, with another striker on board in January I think we'll have a pretty decent strike force to choose from for the second half of the season. If we can add some top drawer talent on the flanks as well, I think the next 5 months could be very interesting.

Babel is a waste of space and this " he's been played out of postion" is a load of bollox.

Young would be great addition, or any player with pace and ability in wide areas to take players on. I also like the idea of Stevie playing close to Torres again with Raul continuing in more central role. However, no chance of us challenging with Konchesky. Lad is average pro and gives average performances. Rather see Fabio given a run now he's fit.

young is ok but it depends on the price (i would say 10-15 tops)

I like the idea of getting Young. Hope it comes off. He does go missing in games though but his pace and directness is something we don't have a lot of.

I keep reading that Johnson will be shipped out in January with Spurs looking to bid. Not sure this would be a good move especially if we only get that Fanni fella.

babel played left winger for Ajax and Holland in the under 19s tournament which we picked him up from. Babel once found out then declared he was in the wrong position and was really a striker. Please get your facts correct.

Actually cp1972 you need to get your own facts right. Babel was NOT played as a winger at Ajax, he was played as a striker as part of a front 3 on the left, where he could cut in and shoot with his powerful right foot.
