I think Murph is right to show some optimism, there has been far too much doom and gloom in the club that it is becoming a self fulfilling prophecy. I dont rate Roy and would be glad to get rid asap. However NESV have been smart and rather than sack and create more instability they have just started to remove his influence instead. look at the following vs when Rafa was here.
-Comolli in for scouting
-Roy has no academy influence
-3 man team to sign players
-New CEO on the way with strategic objectives
All in all we are moving in the right direction. Roy at 63 doesn't fit in with what the future requires. He will be removed in the summer.
I'll go with Murph in that 9 points is achieveable. If we can reduce that by January then maybe a new signing or two may push us in the mix. It's good to feel positive for a change.

im so bored waiting for a new manager.
you lads might be right though. hopefully if we get the right people in in time, we have a good chance of achieving something this year, because everyone has been quite erratic (not erotic).
was lookin at todays round up, raffa already being linked with a move away from inter, capello earmarked for inter so roy ear marked for england. (poor england). wonder will it all kick off this season or wait till the summer.

That's about right. Roy's contract can be ended after a year if new owners see fit. I can't see him as part of their plans whtever happens this season. This is roys' last crack at the big time before retiring, I hope he get's something out the season for our sake more than his. He's got to start playing away from home and realise the potential of the players at his disposal, because I don't think he does. We lower our expectations for no-one.

well it wont be 9 points after this sunday it ll be 12. id love to see us beat spurs but it just is nt gonna happen at the moment, hope im wrong but doubt it.. actually we're odds on to beat spurs. all they do is attack, they cant defend. we'll just do our 10 behind the ball total football thing, hit them on the break and sit back for 89 minutes.

Well, if we defend we will lose for sure. not to mention if we going loose i would like to see us loose while fighting at least and show some pride while wearing the shirt.
We are bigger club than spurs by no means 1 good season for them make them a force in world football.
