Emp you hammered people for sticking by Rafa because of his crap football and negative tactics. Tell me theres one positive thing about Hodgson's rein. Negative football, no stones when it comes to the press attacks at random then immediately apologises. No consistency half decent performance followed by innialation by Stoke. Doesn't have it in my opinion

No mate you need history lesson, Liverpool one of power house in world football, which demands better than what we have been force to watch.

As i said everton is just down the road for your standards, of football roy plays and you enjoy to back.

I am not stupid one minute thinking we going to win champions league and league year in year out we are not the same as 80s nope but i wont dam well settle for this bullsht we have had to endure which you feel is acceptable.

Above all, I would like to be remembered as a man who was selfless, who strove and worried so that others could share the glory, and who built up a family of people who could hold their heads up high and say

'We're Liverpool'.

learnt recently about him....name been touted for a reds job for sometime now...

heard he learnt the trade from mourinho and gonna prove better than him in time to come.....

time will tell that offcourse but i would prefer a young enthusiastic lad for the job...

A fresh new outlook on the game from a guy who admitedly has little experience as a senior manager but has still made a decisive impact on the clubs he has been at in his short future. Put this against our current manager who at 63 years of age, has little time to build our club in the future, plays negative defensive minded football whether it be at home or away or against a newly promoted team or title candidate?
I certainly know which way I would vote!
Young, tactical, positive, attacking football.....
The chance of getting him at this stage of the season is minimal but would certainly be worth entertaining at the end of the season.

Whats the point of all this when we have a manager who is going nowhere, dont you listen to the owners when they say they fully intend to back him in the summer transfer market.

I think that some of the problems people like emp and reclaim have is a failure to realize that supporters actually have standards now. These standards come from top 4 and European consistency over the last 50 years - we've not been up there every season, but we seldom miss by much and we're in those top spots more than others. In terms of winning trophies, Liverpool still has the most of all English clubs, I believe. Is it right to be happy that we're now clear of the relegation places for such a club? No, it isn't.

You've bought into into mild-mannered Roy's illusion that mid-table mediocrity is right for Liverpool. You think it's disgraceful we've seen through him; you think it's disgraceful to not give him a chance when we gave him a chance and he failed. We've not called for the head of a manager this early before simply because previous managers have never failed our standards so quickly and to such a large degree, and he hasn't done anything that makes it seem he's about to improve any time soon. You're just so happy that Rafa isn't here, anything, anyone has to be better, and you're too afraid to admit we hired the wrong guy because it will make just about everything you thought and said about Rafa suddenly false.

At the end of the season if we haven't improved I'm sure the owners would look at the situation in depth and think it may be worth a change! I know if I was the owner I would. Also, they want to plan for a long term future and IMO a 63 year old isn't long term planning. But that's just my opinion!!
And just to set the record straight, I never wanted Roy in the first place as I thought it was a step backward but I don't slate him, I just don't think his style of football is entertaining or will take LFC forward. I want what is best for the club and i don't believe Roy is the way forward.
