I can't disagree his performances for us have been poor to mediocre mark, however he was decent enough for West Ham and Fulham - in fact a class above the triumverate of clowns plaguing us before he signed (Dossena, Aurelio and Insua). Even before he actually signed, the guy received criticism bordering on abuse from so-called LFC "fans" for reasons I can't understand. Still, in view of the wages he gets I acknowledge he should disregard all that and concentrate on doing a good job. He was certainly appalling today, as were most others disgracing the shirts yet again. I went to the match today and no more than three minutes were required before I knew we would lose: the levels of commitment and skill were equally pathetic. I know this topic has been done to death but seeing Lucas in the starting line-up just sucks my will to live, every time. And to select him against the physical giants of Stoke? Oh Roy what are you doing?
I've simply had enough of this crap. Everyone on this forum no doubt feels they are the greatest LFC supporter in the world. On my part, I can honestly say the club has been the most cherished aspect of my life since seeing the 1974 FA Cup final as a small child. When the final whistle went today I felt like slashing my wrists. 90+ minutes of absolute garbage produced by supposed professionals who receive more in a few months than genuine heroes like Heighway, Callaghan, Neal, Hughes, McDermott did in their entire careers.
Still, let's be positive. The only way is up - surely??
