It could also be that Roy's tactics just sucks.
What if the problem also is with the 4-2-3-1 formation being played like this:
Reina
Carra - Soto - Skrtel - Konchesky
Lucas - Gerrard
Meireles - Kuyt - Maxi

your right his tactics are all wrong...its like he thinks were playing barca every week.... WHY PLAY SO DEEP AGAINST EVERY TEAM. ESPECIALLY STOKE AND EVERTON. THERE FRONT LINE IS SO SLOW OUR LASS COULD CATCH THEM.......

I see a lot of names being quoted on here and in the press, this isn't about individuals. I also read that Roy is sinking the ship. Well let's be honest the ship has already sunk! I don't know what the problem is at Anfield but it ain't about individuals. Who can deal with this? Seriously, who?
It's going to take a lot of work to reach the required standard which is no less than the best, and presently that is impossible. It's up to NESV to change things around, I wonder if they realise what a formidable task they're up against.
PS I didn't think it was right for Roy to publicly criticise Johnson the way he did. I don't think the player is any good mind you. But mouthing your players in public is the last thing you should do. Everyone's at it now. roy has won 13 away games in 80!!Do you not think by now he should have said fu!k it,this style of play is not working away from home,he has nothing to lose by at least trying to win,he would probably get more respect.Spurs were utter crap under ramos and they looked truly sunk,now i dont like `arry but to me that is a perfect example of a small club manager proving his salt at a bigger club.What has roy improved in 5 months. It won't make much difference if we change the manager. So really why you're so insistent on lying into me I don't know. The problems are deeper than Roy Hodgson. See beyond it please and you won't be so shocked down the line... And just to let you know I am not a supporter of Roy never have been and I'm not now. But I'm not against him either. Booing, critcising and singing "Dalglish" at matches will never improve things, only make it worse. Confidence on all levels is zero already.

How am i laying into you?I showed you an example of how changing a manager improves things,and under roy changing the manager has taken us back again?I think the Liverpudlians singing Dalglish`s name at stoke are asking what roy has done to deserve the chance over Kenny?

the team has many problems mostly associated with the managers tactics in my view. However one thing we do lack is a bit of energy, something from youth, someone really raw but exciting. The players who are taking most of the headlines in the prem are those playing without fear. Carrol,Hendersen,Wiltshire, Bale, Hernandez. We have no-one in that mould.
when we finished 2nd Rafa early on in the season brought on el zhar against Wigan and Boro. He changed the game just by chasing down and attacking his fullback. He was not top quality but played without fear. I see Ngog and Babel trundling around with no fire in their bellies. Maybe comolli can pick these out as we need at least 3 of this calibre.
Roy tends only to look at experience which is a waste of time. Even Souness through desperation put in Rednapp, Hutchinson, Matteo,Mcmanaman,Fowler, Staunton. I would kill to have any of those waiting in the reserves today.
