The issue is make Madrid pay.

They are bullies, LFC want to keep Alonso, he has another 3 yrs on his contract, he may want a move but he still respects LFC and the supporters and its the WC next year... Real need Alonso to make sense of their team- for which they've paid an awful lot of money, make them pay...

People, we may be sick of this nonsense but we hold the aces, we have the winning hand, thank heavens Rafa is in charge and not some of the soft sentimental supporters as we would have sold him already for 20 Euro... make them pay as much as possible... and if he stays I think he'll still perform for us...

Aquilani was only injured last season, he is not Kewell or Rosicky injury prone.

why are we after Aquilani when Rossi is touted for a 10million move to Arsenal? mind you we are paying 18 million Euros for a fragile and injury prone player???

surely if we offer 25million for Rossi, Roma might consider??

Agree here! Although I haven't seen him play he seems like a risk coming back froma serious injury and paying 18 mill would be stupid money IMO!!!

Time will tell but they are not going to throw money at a player unless they believe he can offer something. Lets just sit back and see what happens.
