sadly a manager should always be backed before player, regardless of our thoughts on the managers ability. Fans are far too emotional and therefore can switch from one to another so must be discounted in these decisions. If Pepe leaves then he leaves we have to get best value from him, there are plenty of very good goalkeepers in europe.
NESV are facing a massive problem in that if the best players start to leave the re-building job becomes bigger and will take longer. That said they have effectively moved the money away from Roy by employng Damien. I think we have until end of the season before we face this issue
