1) That's not his position, so you can't say he's class so he can play brilliantly there. Zidane was class, but not as a centre back. It's a silly statement.
2) He is injured ALL THE TIME. So what is the point? He'll never play enough games to grow into the role of DM for us, because after a few, he'll be injured again. He'll only ever be good as back up because he can only ever play a few games before injury. That is unless our doctors miraculously fix him. He reminds me of Aurelio.
3) Looking good on the ball as a defender is not the same as looking good on the ball in midfielder. And when you're next to Jamie Carragher, even I would look good on the ball.
4) The team is already a disaster without playing people out of position who don't need to be played there.
