he is a fantastic wordsmith, and a stubborn and skilled manipulator. but the fact remains, he won a CL trophy by the skin of his balls with someone elses squad, and an fa cup by a one in a million strike from a cramped up midfielder. outside of that he promoted anti football, and the more control he got of the club, the worse we got. he is in no position to criticise because he failed. i'll say it again, he failed. he had control just like he wanted and he failed so he started to make ludicrous transfer demands to cover it up. he is a liar. never ever forget it and dont be fooled by the silver tongue.

Oh ye because we so much better off now that he got rid of rafa?
I honestly think some people go over the top with the whole rafa ruined us subject. Wether you think we were lucky or not when we won any of the trophys we won, we still bloody done it. His tactics at times were very clever, rafa loves this club and wanted the best for it and its fans.
Look at the state its in now without the man

Just to convolute things further i don't think lfc is missing rafa it is missing a leader, which clearly roy isn't,
As growler was saying we need a real ba5tard for a manager, ideally one that is intelligent as well as a souness type wouldn't work either.... I think whoever's squad it was houllier or benitez it was benitez who got them to two finals not just one, and the fact that seems so distant shows us something was/is seriously going wrong at the club, Judge manageres on their record and trophies not what they say,and benitez will be successful elsewhere, roy hodgson wont

rafa did have problems and did play some players over others on the fact he liked them better but roy aint no better hes far worse gerrards own words and torreses are rafa made me a better footballer. if purslow is so good and is getting the rot out why is aqua at juve and we have poulson, its inevitable roy will get sacked its just a matter of time sooner rather than later for me.

Look at the state its in now without the man Dingo raffa would say Mass. dont listen to what he said, look at what he did. it may have got worse since he left, but thats not to say it was ggood when he was there. the problem was we didnt, or couldnt, replace him properly. we got a senile old man instead.

what do you mean fantastic wordsmith? He's just someone who thinks before he speaks unlike our present divvy manager, he has a pretty basic knowlege of English and when on telly said the usual clichés, anything you read in the media will of course usually be a pretty p1ss poor translation of what he said, benitez didn't take cr@p off people and for that reason made a lot of enemies

The whole of Rafa's reign was like something out of a Monty python sketch. There was a little truth in it but don't believe the hype. I liked Rafa but he's gone now and like when he used to talk about Valencia when he was with us, I'd be peed off if i was a inter fan.
But moving on Roy the boy is not the man for the job, Gave him a chance but have seen nothing good. By this stage of the season some of his positive attributes should be coming to the fore, But no, The players don't like it, the fans don't like it and only the Rooney story is stopping the press having a field day
New owners new manager. I don't trust Roy with 40 million does anyone on here?
