If i have to read another article saying that its all rafa's fault and Roy needs more time i will scream.

Lets look at the major points

1. The majority of the press where against Rafa and some where board line xenophobic

2. They said that Rafa under performed last season with pretty much the same squad as last year when finishing 7th

3. The press called for an English manager for a big club and we got Roy

4. Roy takes us to 19th in the league and the reason from most of the press is that the squad is not good enough (even thought most of the squad is the same from last season see point 2)

5. They blame Rafa again rather then Roy for the failings of this season

Its because he was too smart for them,how many times would a reporter ask him a taboo question,and he would only refer to the game just played.And how many others dared stick up to taggart?

Offensive!!! hahaha, he must be watching the wrong team surely.

Well now we know why its all going wrong, hes not even watching them play, he's getting mixed up.

Makes me laugh the press, and even more so the people that believe it, reina, agger, carra, Johnson, gerrard, cole, torres, kuyt there all [oops] players arnt they.

MY god.. Its scary what more damage he could end up doing to this team if he stays any longer.

You know that Roy means he has only 4 out field players with an inclination to defend. Torres, Gerrard, Raul, Cole, Maxi/Kuyt/Jova, and Johnson (he hates defending the most!) do not think about defensive postioning as such. Only Carra, Skrtel, Konch and Poulsen/Lucas would be considered defensive players.

Granted roy is struggling at the moment and will not be around much longer but lets not twist sh it, things are bad enough not to need to do that!

He is also playing them in a sh it way and agger should start but that not what this post is about.

Im sure his criteria was to finish 4th when he came here?Maybe he mistook that for fourth bottom?

But that for me identifies why roy and liverpool cannot go together. He must go like yesterday... Why?
Clear for 99 percent of people that was not an 'offensive line up' as the earlier poster said, he is talking about the individuals being offensive players. Roy does not get it. His system comes first. The players are too offensive forward looking for his system. Hence poulson. Why he bought miereles I don't know maybe because hes a grafter. And Cole maybe he wet his pants because he is in the big time and doesn't really know why he bought cole in other than he is a big name. This would be supported by the fact that he bought in him then bought in miereles and immediately put both in the wrong position The only way we will get in the top half of the table is if he is allowed to dismantle that team until it is a heap of junk and then restart. For Roy, attack means all his 10 defenders move up as a unit and 'threaten' the oppostion goal as one. Flair players will not be able to work with him and Roy has diluted his own system in order to cater to the fans desire, and the mix that he has produced will never produce a cohesive unit. Thats why I say get him out yesterday because he may start buying more koncheksys and poulsons in order to remove any individuality left in the team.
