We were never this (consistently) bad under Benitez - and to be fair to Rafa, over his tenure had probably one of the best defensive records in the league. We just struggled to beat teams (no change there then).

One day, it will get better - let's hope that day is sooner rather than later. Otherwise it will be too late.

There is no shape or cohesion to the team whatsoever. No-one knows what they are doing, and the movement off the ball is so poor almost every passing move breaks down and forces the player on the ball to pass sideways or backwards. I can't believe for one moment that Roy is addressing any of these issues, because it's actually getting worse.

Our best game of the season without doubt was against arsenal, after that game i thought things were going to work out ok, but it wasn't to be, it all just went down hill from there.

The problem is both players and manager, the players don't know what there supposed to be doing and there manager doesnt have a solution.

This was a fu*ckin disgrace, its nice to know we have a manager who finds it funny when we lose isnt it?

I hope he knows what an complete and utter tit he's making out of himself. He should just retire right now.

I only wonder what might have been without that own goal by Pepe against arsenal. The team are so low on confidence and that didn't help at all. Imagine how pumped they would have been to beat Arsenal first day of the season.
