i know the players aren't performing anywhere the level they should be but you know what really f*ckin annoys me about roy hodgson is the way he shows the opposition too much respect and gives our players credit on such sh!t perfomances as what we seen today against teams we should be beating comfortably. comments like this:



"We suffered at the hands of an early onslaught, which you invariably do here at Goodison."



i can't in all my life remember the last time liverpool took a hammering like that in the first half. newcastle never had this problem a couple of weeks ago when they played there and they could have won it by 2 or 3 but we can't get out of our own half! standards roy?



he continues...

"I thought the shape of the team was good and I thought the quality of our passing and moving was good today."



really don't understand that. what game was he watching? i thought we passed the ball awfully today. we gave the ball away far too cheaply in midfield especially lucas. cole was muscled off the ball too cheaply and him and gerrard couldn't beat the first man in the box with every cross. it was dire. theres no wonder torres isn't scoring.

he shouldn't be giving the players credit at all. he should be sitting them down and slating everyone of the f*ckers. he should'nt massage the players ego's like that. he should be telling them if you aren't prepared to play and sweat blood and tears for liverpool football club then hand me your f*cking shirt and f*ck off.

If you are in any job and you try and sugar coat bad work (whether it be by yourself or your 'team' your manager/ director will hold you even more responsible for bad performance,, you have to address it, this isnt roy taking the flak for his players and then giving them a bolloxing in the background, this is him trying to deflect blame from himself and denying there is a problem he could have said..anything he could have said we have our plans but we didnt get them together or everton were on top of us physcially which is true.. so what does he do ? he denies we played badly that is why he deserves to go he produces bad performances or watches bad performances being produced (arguably caused by his tactics, leaving torres isolate as usual), and not only does he oversee these bad performances, but he denies they were bad i ve never seen it in football honestly!

I apologise for starting a new thread, but he actually said this after today's game - for LFC to go to Goodison and get a result against an Everton team 4th from the bottom would have been Utopia - I'm sorry but the good Lord above is definitely trying to tell us something.

I just feel so ashames and embarrassed with some Liverpool fans for being so stupid and nieve, to blame Hodgeson for what's happening just beggers belief. The people to blame are purely and simply the players, for weeks now they have hidden behind the turmoil of whats been going on off the pitch and now it's been sorted they have been found out for not being good enough.I personaly think the club is finished, new owners who will always make a decision on whats best for the business rather than a footballing decision and senior players who over the years have become to powerful for there own good behind the scenes and get there own way far to much. I personaly would rather see the club get relegated and while we are there get shut of all these players, bring in proper owners who actualy care for the football club and build it up with good morals and traditional values. I know what will happen this season, come January the new owners will probablty throw 30 or 40 million at the problem, we will move up to about 8th in the league and our stupid fickle fans will think everything is fine and rosy in the Liverpool garden again. We will be buying our way out of trouble in a way that your Blackpool's, Wolves and West Brom's cant afford to and thats the only difference between the clubs, just hope Liverpool fans dont complain if City win the league in the same way.

The thing that's really getting on my tits with woy is that beni was as good as sacked for playing awfull football using that stupid 4-5-1 formation! Woy has come in and he's using exactly the same system! Personally I don't think that formation has worked since the loss of alonso.

I'll hold my hands up and admit I was one of the rafa out brigade but perhaps he wasn't so bad after all.....

Just calm down everybody, did you really expect us to start winning just because of the ownership ?
At a normal basis today's defeat would've been acceptable, it has nothing to do with the ownership itself, we were really losing our football and just today we stood on our foot again, now it should be acceptable to say give time, now Roy can really start thinking about the players he is missing and now we can really judge him and cheering for our players who will also start hearing us as well.
Things have been difficult and out of Roy's hands, you will never know.
