but if the singapore bloke is more flush than NESV, why are some blokes hell bent on selling to NESV?
What is clear based on what i know is that he yanks are not trying to hold onto the club, the yanks just want the offer that gives them some profit.
The singapore offer gives the yanks a bit more cash.
So who do we fans want? NESV or Mr Lim?
I aint sure meself what would be best, to my mind id go with teh owne that has the most cash. For me the natural fit is NESV, they have a background in sports, and in the association with the boston red sox, natural enemies the Yankees who have financial agreements with man utd. On the other hand we have Lim who has no experience of sporting companies, made all his money from one lucky hit, and owns a bunch of man utd theme shops/bars. Easy decision.

OK. LFC (UK) is owned by Kop Football Ltd (UK). This in turn is owned by Kop Football (Holdings) Ltd (UK).
Then above that there's Kop Football (Cayman) Ltd, which is registered in the Cayman Islands, and above that there's Kop Investment LLC, which is apparently registered in Delaware and has its headquarters in Dallas.
It's only at that last company that there's any US jurisdiction - but that company is registered in Delaware, not Texas, and if the transaction is from the lower UK companies I can't see how they'd have jurisdiction over it. The parent company would have to be directly involved, which I don't believe it is...
Injun Joe: I'd go with whoever's going to run the club properly, which doesn't necessarily mean throwing cash at it!

I'm sorry this needs to be said. This is why alot of Americans are despised by the world, an it's no wonder why people go to the extremes of flag burning. Only I think it'd be more appropriate to stick the faces on it and then burn it I agree to some extent, but i would like to say that there are many many Americans who dont even know how the world percieves them. There are also very good, humble and honest yanks. What is unfortunate in the business world is that Americans are ruthless businessman. And i wouldnt say chinese are very different. To build a empire, you got have no heart, no feelings, just damn ruthless. In our case, we have a ruthless dog in Tom Hicks, when i look at him, i want shoot the swine!!!

Those sports bars arent official Manc sports bars as far as i read. Running a sports business for me isnt a guarantee for success, it is understanding Footie, and im afraid i feel americans dont know footie. we can say the same about Lim:) You got understand football, yea, the fans, the transfer market, the importance to fans etc. Baseball is a very diff game. As for Hicks and Gillet, they also had experience in running sports business before LFC.

Calm down bro:)
I think i did mention on another thread that these guys going use delay tactics.
Now is teh time for playing with words and technicality to delay the sale and all. Could be a loophole that they exploite.
