playing bigger teams definitely suits us. the whole nothing to lose vibe seems to be in our favour. cant seem to handle being the favourites too well.
who on earth is going to take that job, and then try and play total football?. lol. it would be a complete car crash. we'd be the most dispossesed team in the land. imagine kilbane trying to play the spanish style passing. he'd knee himself in the head.

i agree france were there for the taking. but keep in mind the following:
a. we were oh so dreadfully bad before he got here, so we have improved a lot.
b. his style may not be to everyone's liking, but he is italian, thats how they play, and he also has a succesful CV.
c. he is the best we could get. in fact, he is better than the best we could get, because the fai cant afford him.

who else is realistically going to do that job?

i just think if he goes we will get worse not better.

thats innacurate. we were a cheating hand away from the world cup. vast improvement. were joint top of the group. whats the problem.? and we CANT do better, thats the point.
