Martin O'Neil

Pelligrini is more of a defensive manager if you watched Madrid.. He plays counter-attacking football... Martin O'Neil made Aston Villa play attacking style and he beat the dirty mancs.

Are you insane? Villa were never an attacking team and Pelligrini's Madrid sscored a record number of goals last season!

Sorry Dexter, I disagree. MON will give us the same football we played under Houllier and Rafa and what we're currently playing with Hodge.

At this point in time I'll take anyone that plays attacking football.

Good news for me is that Roy has the full backing of the prespective new owners which I think should be the case, I still think it's a winde up with people calling for his head after just seven games in charge, lets give him at least the season, no time for knee jerk reactions, he has a big job on so lets give him time to do it.

i seriously want him sacked as he doesn't have an experiance in buying big names...i just dn't want him to spend max 10 mill on mediocre players....some big name like kaka,benzema....

Well thats just the style of manager I dont want regarding signing players, I dont want big name players I want young, hungry players who want to make a name in the game, players who want to be part of something being built. I dont want overpaid, sulky Prima donna players like Kaka or Benzema e.t.c who are only here for a pay cheque and have made enough money from the game to the point where they just want a comfy ride with no demands or hassle. You talk about Roy having no experience with buying big players well what experience did Sir Bob, Joe or Dalglish have then or even Pep Guardiola. We have just got shut of a manager who bought a load of big money 20 million pound signing and every one of them was a flop Keane, Aqualani, Torres, Mascherano and Glen Johnson and yes I have included Torres in that because in my opinion because of his injuries, sulking and putting country before club he has become more trouble than he is worth, this proves buying big name expensive players is not always the answer.

torres what a fcking flop, that guy cant even score a hatrick every game. waste of space if u ask me. who in their right mind would pay 20m for torres. we will be lucky to get half of that money back today. in my opionion the torres transfer was worse then the 28m man u paid for veron or the 30m chelsea paid for shevcenko. having paid 20m for torres, i would say we got muged left, right and centre.
