But in at least two games when poulson went off they played like a normal team. Who is advising this guy to start with poulson . Its not like he's going to suddenly improve hes 3 yards of the pace. A child can see that is the basic problem that he brought to the club as if we didnt need anymore . I think he will keep on playing poulson as well cos he's very image conscious and not very points conscious

The guy advising Roy to start Poulsen is Roy. Until he realizes and is prepared to admit that he f.ucked up by buying him, Poulsen will continue to have a major role in our team.

Always liked the greek as he always commited and has a similar presence to hyppia as some people mentioned. Good goal against blackpool but sadly iy wasnt enough, he was our best player out there.

Sorry, but I can't let Stevie off the hook either, he has been awful as well. Teams look to their big players when things are not going well and he has been missing in my eyes.
I know people will spout about how he has carried our side in the past, but if he wants to be considered world class and wear that captains armband then I expect him to lift the team.

Oh, and on the topic of teh Greek, I like him, solid player and got his head on the end of most things in both boxes, something we badly need.
I sometimes feel we waste our time putting the ball in the box from a corner..

What a pleasure having a Liverpool player who can head a ball!

The defining memory I have of him was vs Everton last season when Felliani jumped onto his ankle with both feet. Kyrgiakos got sent off for being just as culpable, but he walked off without even limping. Felliani had to be stretchered off. You're some kind of hard man when another bloke can injure himself having a full go at you while you just absorb his punishment.
