I don't think O'Niell is right for the club - not the right mentality, similar punching weight to Hodgson.

Don't think Pellegrini is a fit either because we have no money. Same reason Mourinho wouldn't sign for us, not that we want him even though we're desperate.

I think the only answer is for King Kenny to hold the reigns until someone new comes in, eg Rijkaard. I do have my doubts about the King's ability to manage a side this long after leaving the game, but he surely can't do worse than Hodgson. I also couldn't bear to see him fail. I think if he came in specifically as a caretaker to help the team remember how to actually play football, and to instill in them the passion and pride necessary to play for Liverpool, then the results will simply follow. With the difficult games out the way already (the home ones vs Sunderland, Northampton, and Blackpool), we should be on an easy run-in to Christmas.

I've always been a fan of Martin O'Neil... But the King deserves it.

hope this dark age will be over by the deadline set by the bank....and we will get some quality in our squad.....

No, the first port of call for dishing out the blame , is the 11 on the field, simple as.

If they aren't happy with the positions they are playing in or tactics, why don't they all get together for a meeting with Roy, and explain how they feel, and p'raps put some constructive critisism and ideas forwatd, or is p'raps that they are simply drawing their disgusting and obscene fat salaries, and really don't give a flying fu*k?

If our so called wonder boy captain Gerrard was or is that interested in the interests of the club and fans, he, as the mouthpiece for the players, should be arranging such a meeting with Hodgson without delay and as a matter of dire urgency, or is he REALLY that ar5ed ey?
