Letting Arbeloa go for about 2 million and buying such a poor player like Johnson for 17 million is nearly as a big a crime as getting shut of Sissoko and bringing in Mascherano who cost three times as much as what we paid for Sissoko.


Sissoko was grooming into a decent player for us until he injured his eye.

Never anywhere near us important to us as Mash became though.
The club stopped winning Cups once Mascherano came, we won trophies with Sissoko so I think thats an important fact which summs up both players. Dont forget alot of people on here think the team Mascherano played in was superior to the one Sissoko played in also, there in no way in a million years Mascherano was three times the player Sissoko was and we only paid 6 million for him.
