last season only spurs and utd had a better home defensive record in the league. brum conceded 13 goals at st. mary's...that's better than chelsea, arsenal, villa, man city and indeed liverpool. if liverpool had won yesterday, they'd be in 5th. brum are a good side. isn't it something like 17 games since they've been beaten at home. that's a quality record.
a point at brum is no shame.
I dont think anyone is complaining about the point because as you said its a decent result.
I think the worrying think has been the lack of invention, effort, belief, ability etc.. We all know it will take time for Roy to get the team playing the way he wants but surely the group of players we have should be able to preform a little better against the likes of West Brom and Birmingham.
Saying that our performances in the last 3 league games have been muck is not an attack at Roy by any means, as he needs time, but it is a fact.
We have been the worst footballing team in the League so far this season but the positive thing is we have managed to get a few points on the board.
We made Birmingham and West Brom look like Real Madrid and Barcelona but at least we got 4 points from it which is the main thing I suppose at this stage.
