i was only 6 then mate but ye it was the end of an era really, the Kop atmosphere isnt the same anymore RTK!!

anfield has become very quiet and a lot of games you can hear the away fans more which isnt how liverpool is percieved, its time the choirs got there voice back.

i know it is carlos, but there's any of us that say this and want it back but it never seems to change.

The day trippers book there tickets with thomas cook and come to Anfield to relish its famous atmosphere and just sit there with there phones out taking pictures and videos instead of being part of the atmosphere.

This is the major problem (IM NOT HAVING A DIG AT "OOT") I have no problem wot so ever with people coming from anywere in the world to see are team play and see Anfield etc. What does [oops] me off is the fact because so many of them come now and don't want to be "the atmosphere" they just want to enjoy it, it doesn't work like that, you have to join in. This is why over the years the Kop has got less & less and is becoming your average EPL ground on matchday. The fans that uset to be the heartbeat of the club are few & far between now, thats what RTK is all about.

It doesnt matter were your from... if you dont sing and get on your feet your part of the reason anfield is average these days.

I think another reason for the lack of atmosphere at any game now is because football in this country is no longer the game for the working class.

spot on its £100 .00 a game when travelling with petrol price of ticket programe bit of food its getting too expensive, but its agents that have caused this getting players wages which just arent realistic so that has a knock on effect down too the fans.
