Where you saying that Rafa is a b@sta@rd when we won the European cup, the FA cup or came the closet to winning the league for the first time in 20 years?

Got to love the internet, gives every keyboard warrior the chance to spout crap.

I'm sick of it Legend, these would be the same people slagging Shanks off after he failed to break the great team of the late 60's up.

the quicker the window shuts the better. we therefore can hope for a takover before October but still have a decent team to invest upon. If we lose masch, Kuyt we will only fall further behind and then it takes years to catch up. at the moment we will get by until Jan.

And they are going to be the first ones to start on Roy rest assured.Look how long we are taking to do anything in the transfer window when spending money is involved,am i starting to see a similar pattern here?Is that Rafa or Roys fault?

At what point did I compare Rafa and Shanks? Its you that needs to be able to read properly sunshine.

I was using Shanks as an example to show that people like you would have been bitching about him after we lost the 71 cup final to Arsenal if the tinternet had been around then.

Listen all!
2 league games in, 2 big hurdles jumped - OK there was a fall at the last hurdle but we get back up and they still have to come to Anfield where the outcome will be different and we'll have parity.
All the recent optimism that comes at the start of a new season and with a new manager was obviously fragile because what we endured last season. No manager on the this planet could seriously start to get his plans a drift in such a short time let alone during the transfer window when there's still uncertainty amongst certain positions in the club most notably "The engine room" of central midfield.

We're also so close to escaping the wrath of our current benefactors. Anything between 1 day and 5 weeks away from conclusion and the dawning of a new era.

Good times are around the corner!

...and I reckon we'll be in the mix for fourth place this year, no doubt about it. I can see spurs struggling with both league and CL commitments but it will be down to fourth spot between ourselves and Arsenal. Thats my conservative prediction at this moment in time, as always open to adjustment as we progress through the season! smile
