Clearly Torres needs a strike partner. Torres will score a bag of goals but his got to stay on his feet. Dives far to often.

All we need is someone that can support Torres. Someone thats big and strong and can hold the ball up Allowing the likes of Cole,Gerrard,Jovanovic etc to attack that final third.

we don't have a stable squad & that sucks :S

I despair, if the mentioned players are the likely signings I fear we are in for a torrid season, we could quite easily get turned over in Turkey, drop another 7 or 8 points in the next 6 league games and be playing catch up again. Would the Carling Cup satisfy anyone???

Our squad cant deal with long distance Europa ties then come back to the UK and play in the rough and tumble of the premier league and expect to finish top4 , sorry but it just wont happen

i don't think we will get top if we only played league games

and if he doesnt you can probably just blame someone else

at least he could've lightened the squad a bit, we have got like 40 players on wikipedia
lucas, elzhar, itandje, insua ...etc
i don't know about players like plessis & spearing but a first team shouldn't have too many youngsters anyway

what can he do if nobody wants them? they're all crap so it's not surprising really that no team is interested in a player like el zhar etc...
