I think RBS are being technical with the truth, Huang is not offering to buy the club his offering to buy the clubs debt, or at least a significant proportion of it, this would apparently put H&G in an unteniable position.

I heard another funny rumour this morning. My colleague was at arsenal yesterday and the bloke behind him was talking about his sister who lives in liverpool and also works with someone who is cousins with Gerarrds missus. Apparently, stevie is staying in a hotel on his own and has been for days. Love a rumour!

Just announced on RTE (Ireland's version of the BBC) that Huang is looking to buy LFC's debt NOT the club.

This would give him a massive amount of leverage to force H&G out of the club. Fat yanks shouldnt of been so greedy, maybe then someone would have offered to buy!

if he does it that way buying our debt to try force the yanks hand couldnt it get a lot worse in the short term while this happens???

Why would Huang just buy the debt though?

So he can buy the club at a lower price from the yanks, he will own the debt and he can call in on his debt when he wants.
