I would, we do need some british quota players. He wouldnt be a starter for me though, he would come of the bench to give us options. His great at dragging defenders out of position and holding to ball up. Can finish to.
If we get money then I agree we buy another world striker to go along side Torres. AGUERO anyone??
What do you mean my birth certificate expired?

giving torres prolonged rest between games is crucial at this moment, leave him out of carling cup and europa until xmas see how he feels, the guys been playing alot since euro 2008. confed cup,09/10 season, world cup yes i think he needs to b used sparingly

Think the only way we could of solved the striker situation was to sell Torres and use the 50-60 million to sign about three 15 million pound forwards to replace him with, the rest of the money we could of used to pay off the debt, that would of made better sense than keeping one lame forward in Torres with only Ngog as back up. Are you a Manc Red? Torres missed only only 20 games in 6 seasons at Athletico, played 33 in his first season with us and 20 odd in the past 2 seasons. Personally I think the guy needs a break - keep him for the league only until after Christmas so that he can get a decent break between games. Wish people on here would get real Fernanado Torres has chronic injury problems, if you look at his record of playing for Liverpool his games record is getting worse each passing season and that a fact you can check up on. The man just cant stay fit no matter how good he may or may not be on a football pitch, as soon as one injury clears up another one starts. I just people on here would take off there rose tinted glasses and just listen to this sense, we in our current position as we speak have an injury prone Torres and a young inexperienced Ngog, we desperately need in my opinion at least another two forwards to carry us throughout a season, we have no money to but these forwards so what else can we do but cash in on the lame duck who cant be relied upon while we can still get serious money for him. Fernando Torres will not be with us next season if he stay this one whatever happens, we all know he will be off somewhere else, when he has another injury prone season again probably playing less games this season than last then the likes of City and Chelsea are going to twig he's a crock and we wont get as much for him. This is common sense, for all those people saying just play him in league games, do you people really take yourselves serious, how on earth can we possibly afford to leave out any forward never mind Torres in our current position with only Ngog and possibly one other forward if we do sign him. Get shut of this crock while we can still get money for him and start realising the club is a business not a football club and you have to do what is right to make the business profitable and successful in order to make money, this is not a mank speaking but a loyal fan and season ticket holder for the last 24 years but is now a Liverpool football club customer or client.

lets just be thankful that you are not running things.
the whole takeover process probably hinges on torres staying. he is the best thing going,he is probably the biggest brand around in footy. he also happens to be [oops]-hot, he has had injuries but he has been playing non-stop for 3 yrs . if we are sensible with him we can win champs league and what not. yah but some people dont see common sense
