kelly should be given the chance whenever johnson doesn't play. this transfer doesn't make any sense to me unless he's going to be back-up for another lb (figueroa etc).

Exactly he plays both sides and is British. We're short on that quota.

strange one , hes 31 and kelly is 20 odd and has the potential to be better then young ever was let alone at his age now.

it may feel weird but imo, i feel that its a deal that will benefit us in the long run as kelly can understudy young & eventually make his break into the first team..

at £2.5m its well worth it, he covers for the new left back and johnson, he's potentially another 'arbeloa'. i say go for it, thats if its true. i suppose the media just keep throwin names out until they get one right. but this one seems to fit the bll perfectly. good signing imo.
