Yes, most definately.
Torres is goosed. His legs and associated bits are knackered, and he's only going to get worse as he gets older unfortunately.
As much as I'd love to see hom playing like he did 2 years ago, I think we've seen the best now, so let's get someone classy in pronto to either cover for another season of an injured Torres, or better still financially, a total replacement.

coz they looked rubbish against a team just promoted to the bundesliga, as for babel he is just rubbish fullstop

ffs if you are going to judge players on pre-season matches then you may as well give up - i have seen players light up pre-season matches and be utter [oops] all through the real season and vice versa ..... it is about fitness not performance and you can't judge players on it at all

i do agree babel is not good enough, but i still think we have too many strikers to need to buy anymore unless some are shifted out of the club ie babel

My issues with Dalle Valle is that he has not really been tested at the highest level, nor has Nemeth or Ecceleston. Its a bit much to ask them to cover for Torres.

Jovanovic and Babel are not out and out goalscorers, we need another goal poacher. Someone who is going to sit in that box and get us goals.

The only way these youngsters will be tested is to play them. Until then we can't say one way or another.

I agree with that but to have only them as back up is unfair on them. Its places way to much pressure on them if Torres gets injured. I want them to be used this season but not to have a baptism of fire.

if they can't handle the pressure then they will never make it, end of ...... throw em in at the deep end and find out what they are made of

Your kidding me arent you , imagine throwing de valle , eccleston and the likes on against some of the central defenders in the EPL , they wouldnt stand a chance. Backup to Torres my ass
