yeah we need an actual proper left back. someone who has proved themselves in the PL. Wilson would be a good back up to him so it has to be someone who is quality.

he's from switzerland, currently playing for sampdoria in serie a.

i remember him from his time in england and he wasn't the most convincing player. but you have to remember he was only 19 years old at that time.

If we can get for 2m I'd say its a good deal. To be honest I would hope for something a little better.

He would be a decent back-up but thats about it. 2 million is a decent amount to pay for him though.

Biggest rumour today is Wayne Bridge joining us. That was all over the papers this morning. I like Bridge, but my only concern is he turns 30 next week, we will only get a good couple of years out of him.

Yer I agree. I wouldn't be too upset is we got hold of Bridge, but he definatly isn't the long term answer.
